Managing E-Mail Accounts
The control panel allows you to manage several e-mail options, including the creation of accounts, forwarding, autoresponders, group emails and mailing lists.
Creating an E-Mail Account
To create a new e-mail account, simply select "Create Mail Account" from the home screen. Once the screen loads, you will be presented with a box asking for the desired email name @ yourdomain and a password. You may ignore the remaining options and select "Next" at the bottom of the page to proceed to antivirus and spam filter settings or select "Finish" to create the email account without changing anti-virus and spam filter settings.
One the next page (if applicable), you may select whether your email is checked for viruses as it is received. Select an option and then proceed to the next page by selecting "Next" at the bottom of the page. Note: Outgoing mail can only be scanned if you utilize our mail server as your outgoing server. The use of your ISPs mail server for outgoing mail cannot be monitored.
The final page allows you to specify if you would like your e-mail to be screen for spam, and if so to provide a "score" by which it should be marked as spam. Select these options as you would like, we suggest utilizing the default value for spam score, however you may adjust it to match your e-mail patters as needed. We also suggest not deleting e-mail marked as spam to prevent potentially important e-mails from being accidently deleted.
Creating Forwarding E-Mail Addresses
Creating an e-mail forwarder requires that you first select "Create Mail Account" to generate the e-mail address on the system. Enter the desired email address, leaving the password blank, and proceed to the "Mailbox" section of the page. Uncheck the box next to the option "Mailbox" to prevent this address from storing the e-mail on the server. You can then select "Finish" at the bottom of the page.
On the next screen, select the "Redirect" option. On the Redirect page, check the box to enable redirection and enter the desired e-mail address to forward to. Once complete, select "OK" to enable forwarding.
